Cloudsfer Integration for Amazon S3
When connecting to Cloudsfer, you must select the source and target systems you wish to migrate from or to.
The Amazon S3 option can be used as either a source or a target system.
Using Amazon S3 as a Source
When using Amazon S3 as a source, Cloudsfer allows you to:
- Preserve document versions
- Retain the "Modified By" date
How to Connect to Amazon S3
- Choose the Amazon S3 connector from the list of systems.

- A pop-up screen will appear.
- Ensure you have an S3 key pair:
You will need both the Access Key ID and the Secret Access Key to proceed.
- Click the “List Buckets” button to view and select the desired bucket.
- From the file hierarchy, select the folder you wish to migrate.
Limitations When Migrating into Amazon S3
- Cloudsfer does not impose any file type or size limitations.
- All limitations are defined by Amazon S3, not by Cloudsfer.
