How do I schedule a migration (in a Personalized Plan)?

Scheduling a Migration Plan in Cloudsfer

When creating a migration plan, you have the option to transfer your files immediately or schedule automated migrations. This guide will walk you through the steps to schedule your migration plan.


Option 1: Schedule the Migration During Plan Creation

  1. Start a new migration plan.
  2. In the Summary window of the migration wizard, click “Schedule Migration for Later”.

  3. Select the date and time for your migration to start, then click “Schedule.”

You can choose between:

  • One-Time Migration: Runs once at the selected date and time.
  • Scheduled Backup: Runs automatically on selected days of the week at a specific time.

Option 2: Schedule the Migration After Saving the Plan

  1. Start a new migration plan.
  2. In the Summary window, click “Save Migration Plan for Later.” The wizard will close.
  3. Go to the Migration Dashboard.
  4. Locate your saved migration and click the Actions button next to it.
  5. Click “Schedule Migration.”

  6. Select the date and time for your migration to start, then click “Schedule.”

Again, you can choose between:

  • One-Time Migration
  • Scheduled Backup

Note: Scheduled backups run according to the UTC time zone, while one-time migrations follow your browser’s local time zone.
