How can I apply filters?
Using Filters in Cloudsfer Migration
Cloudsfer allows you to apply filters to your migration plans, enabling you to transfer files based on specific criteria. This feature helps streamline your migration by excluding unnecessary data.
You can currently filter content by:
- File Size
- Date Created
- Date Modified
Note: Filtering by file type will be available soon.
You may apply multiple filters simultaneously. In such cases, an AND relationship is applied—only files that meet all selected criteria will be migrated.
Availability
The Filters feature is available with Business Plans.
To purchase a plan, register and log in to your Cloudsfer account, then go to Pricing >> Business Plans or visit https://app.cloudsfer.com/User/Plans.

Once you've configured your filters, click Save & Continue to proceed.
Additional Notes
- Filters can be added or edited if a migration is saved for later.
- Filters apply only to files, not folders.
- Filters do not behave as delta/incremental migration. The full folder hierarchy is created, but only files matching the filters are transferred.
- Filter capabilities may vary depending on the source system.
Example: Filters available when migrating from Box to Box Enterprise may differ.
